Greetings from the entire Organising Committee of the DiabetesIndia 2023!

We would like to welcome everyone to the 13th World Congress of DiabetesIndia - DiabetesIndia 2023 being organised from 14th to 16th April, 2023 at Brilliant convention centre, Indore.

All of us have fought the difficult period of pandemic and our salutations to the entire fraternity to stand up and help everyone to overcome this difficult period. All of us have contributed immensely to keep our patients well and out of danger. We did this out of a sense of duty to the profession. Diabetes India would like to extend our deepest appreciation and acknowledgement to all our members and to all the doctors who contributed directly or indirectly in this fight against COVID 19. The pharmaceutical industry played an important part in holding hands with the medical community in this entire fight.

One thing that all of us have understood during this period is the importance of learning, sharing and collaborating where medical literature is concerned. It equips us better to treat patients. We saw a record number of high-quality publications, published by our members to enhance the knowledge of all HCPs. This information was well discussed on various online platforms which helped amplify this information to the deepest parts of the country to help our fellow doctors. One such area was on acute management of hyperglycaemia and its complications. Never ever has the need for tight control of diabetes been felt so acutely to improve outcomes. Our efforts through DiabetesIndia were constantly to update all through various guidelines and meetings to bring care to highest level.
